Honey, I Shrunk the Office!

Reducing property costs and creating better flexible working environments

The next Flexibility Seminar, in conjunction with the British Institute of Facilities Management, has a special focus on redesigning office space around new ways of working and the tools that go with it.

Research and case studies have shown that very substantial savings can be made by integrating property reduction and new ways of working.  But how do you know what to do and how to get it right?

A practical focus

This seminar brings together experts and practitioners to help you to move from theory to practice, dealing with the practical issues of office redesign in the context of flexible work.

It will show how to:

  • integrate office redesign with new ways of working
  • audit space use to find your real requirements and to decide how office space should be used
  • create innovative and flexible designs for the office
  • make the best choices for office furniture
  • approach the tricky issues of shared space and "hotdesking"
  • set up home-based and mobile working, and how to meet the needs of flexible workers in the office
  • get everyone on board with the changes
  • integrate IT and telephony requirements with office design
  • approach storage issues and the quest for the "paperless office".

The seminar will include several case studies and many opportunities to share experience.
